How we label claims
Fact
Checkable against a named source, with a date. "She's 7-of-9 from three in her last two games, per the box score, as of Nov 24."
Read
What the film shows, backed by at least three clips. "She attacks closeouts going left."
Take
Opinion, clearly marked. Big Board rankings are takes. "She's the best on-ball defender in the conference."
Where the numbers come from
- Team, conference and standings data comes from balldontlie, a licensed data provider. It isn't official NCAA data.
- The site refreshes every day. Before anything publishes, automated checks look for impossible or contradictory numbers. If a check fails, the site keeps its last good version.
- Every metric has a methodology page with its formula, inputs and limits.
- Mistakes are fixed in public on the corrections page.
What we don't do
- No betting picks and no gossip.
- No coverage of high school players' film or tendencies.
- We don't copy other sites' articles or data. We link to them.
